This work is a viscous, almost watercolor-like substance where the pigment barely clings to the surface. It represents a state in which old structures are collapsing while new ones have not yet formed. Here, the Hero is at their most dynamic: they are running. It is a manifesto that some stages of life cannot be fully understood intellectually — they simply must be passed through, maintaining momentum in order not to become trapped in the sticky unknown.
The work is part of the series “Journey to…” — five circular canvases functioning as metaphysical portals. It is an exploration of a journey without a final destination, where the purpose lies in the transformation of the spirit itself.
