A desert where time turns into sand. Here, the journey reaches a state of calm. The Hero sits — relaxed, grounded, assured. Above them, whirlwinds of change continue to rage, yet they no longer resist them. They become the Observer. This is the final — and at the same time initial — point of the cycle, where a person realizes themselves to be stronger than any external scenery.
The work is part of the series “Journey to…” — five circular canvases functioning as metaphysical portals. It is an exploration of a journey without a final destination, where the purpose lies in the transformation of the spirit itself.
